The photo here doesn't quite capture the depth of the shadows in this painting, it was a hard one to capture and trying to adjust all the settings took a while. This is a local cow in one of the fields next to the surf. I've been avoiding black cows since they are so hard to get right. It was raining pretty good on the island on this day. The rain was coming from offshore and if you can look closely you can decipher which way the beach would be.
