Màthair of Skye

It was more difficult to find a Heilan Coo in Scotland than you might expect for such an iconic creature. Fortunately, touring the countryside in a rented motorhome gave my husband and I plenty of opportunity to look. This lovely lady was spotted on the Isle of Skye. The northernmost of the major islands in the Inner Hebrides. Adding a little Scots Gaelic to the title seemed appropriate. Màthair translates to mother.
