Summer has fled North Texas and the sunflowers in the garden are in their last gasp in this slightly cooler September weather. I've brought a few of them back to life on canvas this week, one more time, before October arrives and brings the first chill.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
