8 x 6 oil on canvas SOLD
My first red pepper. For whatever reason I've always been
hesitant to paint one. I guess that inner part intimidated me.
I was pleasantly surprised to find it enjoyable once I got
started.
The red reflection inside the left of the bowl was troubling.
It didn't "look" right. Then I reminded myself that the best
way to mess up a painting is to paint it like you "think" it
should look instead of what is really there. So trusting that
rule of thumb I carried on and hoped the real thing would
work out fine.
