14 x 11 oil on canvas This painting was inspired from photos I took while visiting the Jackson Hole area last year. It was summer time and the wildflowers were in full bloom. I was impressed with the grandeur of the Grand Tetons and surrounding area. The flowers were an added treat for the eyes. This is painted with a pallet knife and lots of paint.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
