This is a view of the Chisos Mountains from near 5200' elevation. Within Big Bend National Park there are various transitions of elevation, there are unique flora and fauna within those zones.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
