Have you ever been confronted with the
perfect doll? I was involved in a life drawing class when I glanced in the corner & saw the daughter of the model trying on hats from the prop box. Of course I envisioned her sitting amongst a group of antique French dolls. The little doll dressed in white is a German doll with a "broken" nose. The real challenge was to paint the "glass" eyes of all the dolls. A couple of them had to be repainted because I went too far & made them human. This original painting will be included in the Fall Art Show at the
Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Tx in
