Tivydale Road is a favorite road I love to take outside of Fredericksburg. On one side of the road, there is a drop off to a valley with ridges behind it . This is a long road to the entrance to this 100 acre ranch. Color is beginning to emerge, the grasses have tall color on them. It was a cool morning and beautiful!

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
