I painted this plein air from the banks of Lake Granbury this week. This was my 4th painting from this location. I was inspired by the golden cattails and nice fall colors. I found a painting at every turn.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
