This was my second painting of the day at Hunter Park on Lake Granbury. The light was making the cattails and grass just golden. I loved the color contrast between the grass and water. It was a such a treat to be outside painting.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
