 This is a painting I did out at Lake Weatherford just a few days ago. I actually paint this same spot last summer. The water level is much lower now and I was able to paint these docks from a little further in from of them then last time. I also took a few progress pictures as I worked on this painting. The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
