I painted this today at the Dallas Aboretum. I meet up with artist, Doug Clark, Olivette Hubler, Chris Taplan and Hi Chi Lee. Even though the temperatures rose to 107 today, it was a lovely morning. We were nestled under trees in the shade painting the waterlilies. We were near a stream and waterfall, which seemed to be one of the coolest spots in the garden. I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.
