      Taking a cruise through Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, Michigan proved to be a the high point of our trip to Lake Superior. For two hours we were treated to amazing and colorful rock formations gleaming in the sunlight, some with cascading waterfalls. There were so many great shots, choosing one to paint was difficult. The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
