This is the second painting I did from a profile view of Margo when she posed for our Friday Life Drawing group.  I did more stamping in this painting, changed the background, used more turquoise, lifted light with stencils, and generally painted the image with more darks.  I think I prefer this painting somewhat to the first one.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
