I'm trying to get a jump on my Spring Cleaning so I'm having my own series of "Starving Artist" sales!  Here's two small paintings from a series I worked on after a family vacation to Galveston a couple of summers ago.  Most of the other beach series found homes, but these two are still taking up space in my living room.  I'm going to need the display space soon, and I can always use the money, but really I just want them to find a home too!  I'll be posting several more canvases from my inventory over the next few days with low starting bids.  Hope you enjoy the art, and happy bidding!

Check out some of my other artwork or learn more about me at http://www.marknesmith.com/.  Email me with any questions or comments at art@marknesmith.com.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
