 This is a break from my normal genre of painting, but I've had some interest lately for inspirational art. It is with a renewed vigor that I painted this image of a relative that recently visited Israel. She is also a descendent of Jewish heritage...with blonde hair and hazel eyes! The concept of this painting lies in a Scripture:

 "Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun..."     Song of Songs 6:10

I was captivated by her beautiful eyes...I hope you will be too.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
