This original oil painting is drying. I focused on the colors, wanting a soft and dreamy look. I believe this is the first time I have painted on this size canvas....it is not huge, and looks great over our sofa in the den. The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
