On the Lookout by Sandra Reeves Cutrer

"On the Lookout" is an original oil painting of two beautiful Baltimore Orioles, with their deep black eyes scanning the horizon, not only for a meal, but for anything or anyone that could cause them to lose out on such a beautiful day. The Baltimore oriole males have such brilliant colored plumage, making them one of the most favored birds to watch. Many thanks to Larry Ditto, a professional photographer for Texas Highways magazine, Field and Stream, National Geographic, and many other fine magazines and articles on wild life in the USA, who so graciously allowed me to paint one of his beautiful photographs.
Thank you for looking at my work. For information on purchasing this painting, or any other pieces, please contact me at: sandrasart777@aol.com or visit my blog at : srcartavenue.blogspot.com

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website
