Prima Donna, Siamese Cat by Sandra Reeves Cutrer

Prima Donna (or First Lady) is painted in dark blue oils using the monochrome method, on a 12”x12”x1” gallery wrapped canvas. All sides are painted in a dark blue hue, so she can be left unframed if desired.

This pretty little lady wasn’t keen on having her photo taken, but I hung in and waited for her to relax. She finally decided she wasn’t all that worried about the fuss, gave me a regal glance, and curled up for a long nap. One can never predict what a cat will do, especially if they think you are trying to take charge!

Thanks for looking at my work. Please view this painting, more of my work, and price information @srcartavenue.blogspot.com. Or you may contact me at sandrasart777@aol.com.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website
