My favorite flower to give my Mother as a small child was a pansy. From that point on I was charmed by the way their little faces could make you happy. As a child in Sunday School we would take a cottage cheese carton and plant a pansy in it for Easter Sunday for our Mother's. What wonderful memories were made for all of us.
