I love quiet spaces and this rich green tree.
 
 
I used a little Paynes Grey with Pthalo Blue and Ultramarine Blue mixed with Sap Green. I really wanted it almost out of focus so that it just left you with a silent, peaceful mood.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
