This was inspired from a plein air study I created at the Dallas Aboretum this spring.  I tried to re create the magical landscape in this studio on piece. The azalea's bright color glowed in the morning light. It is available for purchase. $500.00

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
