This painting is drying at the studio, as I finished it yesterday. I have worked on this painting quite a long time---many sessions in the studio. I wanted the eye to see forever...with the background disappearing. I hope that the viewer feels like he or she is standing at the base of the wildflower field, enjoying the beautiful colors and fresh air.
