Let Petite Break Room is the daily newbie from Flower Mound Studio, a scene from Le Vieux Couvent where I will be teaching next August. in Southern France. I'll be giving away a day of French painting right here in North Texas, and the first 10 people to respond to the giveaway later this week will be the winners. Easy as that! No passport, no plane ticket, and no jet lag! On December 13 we'll be painting French landscapes from my trip to Southern France, or you are welcome to bring your own landscape photos for a day of making brilliant color bloom on canvas. The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
