12x9 watercolor on Bristol 100 lb done over the weekend.  Usually windmills are painted in a vertical format to show full size but in this work, I have cropped its bottom legs for a more close up view.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
