Thank you to Bill Hester for selling this contemporary floral landscape painting.  The thick layers of paint created texture on the canvas.  The field of poppies flows into the background of the field...fading away into the horizon line.  I am thrilled that this painting has a new home!  Thanks, Bill.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
