"Beatitude" 30x40, Oil on Canvas

My three kids have gotten back to school and it has given me more time to be in the studio. This was something that was churning in me for many weeks.

Another word for "Beatitude" is blessed. And I am blessed. I wanted to show a parting veil of clouds in this soft rain upon a good land. For me that's what it looks like to be blessed, happy and at peace.
