7" x 5" textured oil painting

I painted these Texas Indian Paintbrush and bluebonnets with extremely thick oil paint and palette knives to achieve depth and texture. The resulting image comes to life and is loaded with color and energy. In this wildflower series, I've framed the paintings in 5" espresso plein air frames and they look great hung alone or in a grouping like pictured below!
