I created this from a small field study I painted in Glen Rose.  
We return to this area every year to find the red bud trees blooming. They are one of the first colors of spring and one of my favorites. This is available for purchase.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
