Contemporary Abstract Painting
Using a brush and palette knife to move the paint around, this small abstract is painted on a gallery wrap canvas. I started with greys, blues, soft greens and a fleshy-orange color. The palette knife helped me scrape the canvas several times. The caribbean blue and rose pinks were added to give it some pop and interest. The sides of the canvas are painted in the grey-blue background color, and signed on the side. This painting is drying in the studio, and is for purchase.
