White Oleander Wins Third Place Honors by Dawna Hasara

Super honored to have been notified that I was awarded third place in the #galveston juried competition currently on display at the Affaire d'Art Gallery in historic downtown Galveston. My painting "White Oleander" was the chosen award winner of the three accepted. It's a wonderful showing of island themed pieces reflecting all the Galveston has to offer. Make plans to visit! I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.
