I created this landscape as a commission. It wasn't going my way so I set it aside.  I wanted to jazz it up so, I added the poppies.  I love the warmth it create on this lovely landscape.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
