I painted this sweet pup for a Christmas gift for his Mom. When I found out he loved floating in the pool I knew what I would paint. A doggie after my own heart.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
