There is nothing better than seeing a field of wildflowers. In certain locations the fields of blue bonnets seems to go on forever. Getting up close and taking in the fragrance of the wild flowers is an added bonus.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
