This outstanding sunset was from my deck on Lake Granbury. We were out fishing and fortunate to see this light show. I took tons of photos to use as reference material and painted this in the studio.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
