While trying to get another class together, I decided we would do something in honor of Memorial Day since it is coming up. These are all sketches from my flag album. Every time I go somewhere, I take photos of flags. All but one is done with the Tombow and Elegant Writer and Ink. The top left photo was from somewhere in NM, The top right, 'Ruidoso', is drawn with ink and painted. The middle 'Thank You' is from a photo in Hobbs, NM. and it says it all.  A friend and I went to a Memorial Day Parade, many years ago, and that was the  home-made sign in the barber shop window. The bottom left 'Freedom of Religion' is a church from somewhere, and the last ' Home Sweet Home'  is a house from somewhere.  I don't always remember where they came from.  I am so thankful for all of our veterans.
