Little Flow Blue by artist Pat Meyer

9 x 12 oil on linen  my own collection Pat@Meyer.net Flow Blue puts off it's own type of glow from the underneath of the porcelain.  It is hard to capture all the characters of the creamer.  What I wanted to achieve is to have it as my center of interest and show the delicate lines.  The balance of the other objects gives this creamer strength and interest.   www.PatMeyer-artist.com Signature Member Artist of Texas, Oil Painters of America, American Impressionistic Society

Pomegranates with Lime by Vonnie Kohn, still-life, oil

5 x 5"/ oil on canvas Gallery wrap (needs no frame) $ 100 This is the time of the year when pomegranates begin to show up in the produce section of the grocery. The first time I encountered this delectable fruit, I was simply amazed at the number of seeds found in it. I didn't even know how to serve this exotic fare! Now, pomegranates are one of our favorites. I chose this delightful combination of pom's along with a lime as natural color complements. Reminds me of Christmas... "Sweet Dreams"

An Apache still-life featuring the Yellow cradleboard trimmed with blue & white beadwork, medicine bag, moccasins, gourd rattle for the naming ceremony and a Dream Catcher to induce dreams of successful hunting. The symbols in the background indicate a good hunt. The role of a young warrior begins in the cradle. As he matures, he is expected to take his place in the tribe as a good provider for his people. This is the first in a series entitled: The Dream Catchers. It is a tribute to my Native ancestory. Available in canvas transfer, note cards, and the original oil in 24 x 30.
