"Lorie" by Nathalie Kelley

I saw "Lorie" at a craft show. When I saw her hat (not cowboy) and her sweet smile I knew I wanted to paint her. I needed to catch just the right light, so we stepped to the door which just happily happened to be red. YeeHaw! And her red plaid shirt, perfect!!! This is day 3 of the 30 paintings in 30 days hosted by Leslie Saeta. Watercolor -11"x15" on Arches paper.

"Tom Orsak" - Nathalie Kelley, watercolor

"Tom Orsak" is an artist and a friend. Tom is a plein air artist and I love the hat he wears when he is painting outside.  I was delighted when he agreed to let me paint his portrait. He and his wife, Jeane live in Harriet, Texas near San Angelo. This is day 2 of the 30 paintings in 30 days hosted by Leslie Saeta.

Day 11 - 30 in 30 Days - Daisies in Blue Enamel by Nathalie Kelley

Daisies in Blue Enamel 5"X7" watercolor on Arches paper   My mom has a wonderful blue enamelware pitcher  that sits on a shelf in the kitchen. We have coffee and reminisce and solve problems and share our faith and share bites with her big black dog, Punkin'. I love daisies and the blue pitcher but I love my mom more. Since most of what I am doing for this challenge is small and sort of quick, I am also thinking about doing 30 Painting in 30 Days for $30.00 each. So, if you have ever wanted to own a Nathalie original this will be your chance. I will attach Paypal buttons in the next day or two *There will be a couple of exceptions* This is Day 11 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days  hosted by Leslie Saeta. I still tend to want to work it a little bit more. Add a few more details. Tweak it just a bit!  PUT THE BRUSH DOWN This is Day 9 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days  hosted by Leslie Saeta.
