© AnnHoffpauir The American Goldfinch is one of many song birds or yard birds, that travel through our property every spring and fall. I didn't realize how many different species of birds came our way until I took the time to really look. We have this one, the Goldfinch, Warblers, Eastern Bluebirds and Cardinals just to name a few. I am planning to paint a series of birds, songs birds first. Later, birds of prey and more water birds. If you especially like a particular bird leave me a note and I will paint it and post it. © AnnHoffpauir Another Angel fish. I may do a series of these type fish. Salt water fish are very beautiful to paint especially in watercolor. The colors seem to mix themselves on the misted paper. I used a lot of negative shapes to create the coral in this painting as I did in a previous Angel fish painting. http://www.ArtworkbyAnn.com

© AnnHoffpauir This is a watercolor of some young cowboys at a rodeo waiting for their turn to bull ride.  I can just imagine what they are talking about, hence the title, when their time comes to ride.  It can get pretty exciting watching the dust fly and the expressions on their faces waiting for the buzzer to go off.  Eight seconds takes forever.  http://www.ArtworkbyAnn.com
