“Playing Tag” ©2011 Niki Gulley 24” x 36” pastel Black, gold, white, tangerine—quicksilver Koi slice through silent waters while above them water lilies keep an eye on the playful, darting fish. Colors float and ripple across the painting forming tranquil patterns that segue into a loving composition of inverted hearts drawing you into the “heart” of the painting – a happy threesome of lilies in bloom.
