Snack Time Suzy 'Pal' Powell suzypal@lyntegar.com available $100 8x10 framed Zebra watercolor, matted to 8x10.  I love the zebras! love the black and white.

"Racer" a zebra portrait in oils on a wrapped canvas. I photographed several zebras at the Baton Rouge Zoo, in Louisiana, including this one who came up for a closer look at me (or maybe my large camera). All sides are painted a dark hue, so there is no need for a frame. I just got word tonight that one of the zebras gave birth last week, so now I am planning another trip to Louisiana to see the newest member of the zebra family. I enjoyed painting this, and although my eyes wanted to blur a few times from the stripes, every stroke was fun,as I easily recalled their various personalities. Thank you for reading my blog and looking at my work.
