Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

Ellie   I found out today that this painting got in the SWS Show. (Southwestern Watercolor Society -Dallas)  I am a signature member, but is always exciting to get in a juried show.  Jean Grastorf was the juror and I am so thrilled she let this one in! This is done on 300 lb hot press watercolor paper and I enjoy working on it.  I like the soft look you can get with it

Summer Has Arrived 11x14 watercolor  by artist, Liana Yarckin I am honored and thrilled that this painting was accepted to the juried exhibit of the Annual Southwestern Watercolor Society.  It was my goal this past year to get into a juried show, particularly, SWS.  The SWS showcases some of the finest watercolor artists every year.  I cannot tell you how good this makes me feel.  At this point in my art journey, it justifies me and inspires me to paint even more and paint what I love!
