CYPRESS TREE AT PEDERNALES RIVER, KERR COUNTY By Barbara Haviland on 1/23/2023 7:21:33 AM   -  Comment on this #pedernalesRiver,#CypressTree,#OilPainting,Canvas,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Cypress tree at Pedernales River was done on location.  Fun painting to do. Measures 12″x 9″ and on a gallery wrap canvas. The painting is also signed by me. My Art friend and I went to the Bunk House for a few days to paint and we came across this  fantastic tree and stopped to paint.  We stood in the river bed to get some photos of this magnificent tree.  Available Gallery wrap canvas is wide and painting wraps around

Just finished this journal entry.. a few years ago I was at the banks of the Pedernales River not far from where I live here in Texas. It’s a great spot to paint. Lately we have had an enormous amount of rain and flooding, so this area is a good place to stay away from till the water subsides.  I used an old photo for this journal entry.  It’s in my Stillman and birn 8” x 10” Beta series journal. Thanks for visiting.. Rae teaches workshops in both the USA and Europe.  For more info please contact her through this blog or via her website.. raeandrews.com
