Saturday Afternoon 11x14 original watercolor by Liana Yarckin blog website facebook When living in London, I loved passing by and sitting at the neighborhood pubs which were always garnished with the most beautiful flowers in hanging baskets, window baskets and pots. One would think that it was a garden nursery, not a pub. But, every pub showed off their green thumb as if in competition. This photo was taken on a Saturday afternoon, the lunch crowd gone, but, a few lucky people sitting around enjoying the weather, the setting and maybe a pint. If you have a favorite pub, call me, I can paint it for you.
