Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

Farewell 30" x 40" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Palette Knife Painting Piles of oil paint were on my palette, and with one palette knife I covered the canvas with a baker's dozen of roses.  It felt great to be back into the studio after a three week break.  I mixed my colors so that every layer of paint would be in harmony with the next layer.  There are small specs of rose, red, and turquoise spicing up the painting, but for the most part greys, lavenders and greens, and naples yellow dominate.  Contact  Kay Wyne  for purchasing info.  Thanks, Kay

Garden Gala Sunflowers 16X12 Oil on Panel Purchase Information Flower Painting Workshops Nancy Medina Web Site Garden Gala Sunflowers is a new work in the studio, one of my afternoon paint-along demonstrations during my workshop in the Texas Hill Country last week. Today I am packing flowers, paints, brushes, and goodies for my sold out workshop at the Dallas Arboretum. I found some amazing coral colored roses at Central Market *sound of harps* today - I can hardly wait to paint them for my class morning demo. My next two workshops are full, but I would love to see you in January 2013 at my 3-day workshop at the Jaycee Parks Center for the Arts. It's already filling up so don't delay. Put a little joy in your brush and let's make loose, colorful flowers happen in 2013!  Read more about my January workshop here....
