Prelude 24"x24"x.75" Mixed-media on canvas Sometimes it's just nice to let loose and let the painting decide which way to go. I searched around for all sorts of materials and mediums to pour, scratch, glaze, etc. on to the canvas. Transparent fluid colors were poured on to the already textured canvas. Heavy gel medium, glass bead texture gel and crackle paste all added to the interesting ways that they interacted with the fluid paint. Accents of metallic gold and iridescent paints created a jewel-like effect. To see more details of this painting, please click here .
