Mosaic Blue Hydrangeas by Nancy Medina  12X12 Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Purchase Information Flower Painting Workshops Nancy Medina Web Site Mosaic Blue Hydrangeas is a new painting in Flower Mound Art Studio. After weeks of painting poppies and oranges and lemons, I felt the need to move into a blue spectrum. The last flower on my hydrangea plant is almost faded, and I'll be in the garden today, planting this one in the ground to give it another chance next season. With all the cool breezes we've been having lately here in North Texas, can you tell I'm looking for a great excuse to spend the afternoon outdoors?

Poppy Zest Table Fest by Nancy Medina 48X30 Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Purchase Information Flower Painting Workshops Nancy Medina Web Site Poppy Zest Table Fest is done! Thanks to all my friends on Facebook who helped create the perfect name for this painting. I am picturing this in a breakfast nook, something to watch over you while you eat your croissant warm from the oven and sip your double mocha with (extra!!) whippy creme each morning, with a little snorfley critter near your feet in your lap waiting for crumbs. I've been having so much fun creating these big floral table-scapes lately, but it's time to produce some new small paintings, too, so stay tuned for those.  I'll be announcing the winner of my Paint Flowers From Life contest in my newsletter next week. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter to find out who will win a 3-day flower painting workshop ! Follow my art every day on my Facebook Fan page!  Poppy Zest detail....
