Fading Blooms - Hydrangeas by Nancy Medina 16X12 Oil on Linen Board Daily Painters Gallery Nancy Medina Web Site Nancy Medina Art Blog Fading Blooms, Hydrangeas is work from a studio arrangement. I purchased a bundle of beautiful white hydrangeas at the market yesterday, but this morning they had begun to droop a bit. I pulled a bit of their fade into the work. The sunflowers I bought with them are still bright and perky, so stay tuned! I sense another sunflower may be happening on canvas in Flower Mound Studio fairly soon. If you are having a quiet Saturday and looking for some artistic entertainment in North Texas, join me this evening from 7 to 9 pm at The Enchanted Artist Gallery in Castle Hills, Texas, just west of Plano. This is the grand opening celebration for owner Nancy Scheurmann and friends. We'll have wine and cheese and plenty of local color - I hope to see you there!
