This painting was inspired from the flag pole outside of my job. Whenever I get stressed, or bored, I like to take a walk around the building. I am posting one of my favorite paintings that I created in oils with our wonderful bald eagle, along with the great American and Texas flags, because I want to make sure that everyone knows I am proud to be an American! Yes, and proud to be a Texan! We do have our many "flaws" in this country (and it seems the gap is widening from the freedoms I grew up knowing) but we are still a great nation- under GOD. Let's keep it that way. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America , unto the republic for which it stands, one nation, under GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
