Out In The Country by Dawna Hasara

Out In The Country 11" H x 14" W, unframed $175.00 watercolor on paper Out in the countryside northwest of Houston the terrain gently rolls and the scenery is lush. This rooftop peeks out from behind its front yard and at this time of the year, a large pink crepe myrtle towers over the roofline adding a bright splash of color.  Click on the title link to visit my website for more of my works.

Ranch Dressin' by Leada Wood

RANCH DRESSIN' BY LEADA WOOD http://www.leadawood.com/ www.leadawood/blog I was so excited and honored today when I opened our weekly newspaper and the New Commers Guide fell out and my painting made the cover! The painting was a 22x28 watercolor a client had commissioned for her husband for their 25th anniversary. She brought all the items to my studio and I sat up a still life and painted from it. You just never know what the day will bring! Art is personal and makes a wonderful gift, as well as an heirloom. I love doing commissions and would be delighted to do one for you!

Red Hot! by Leada Wood©

Red Hot by Leada Wood © Hi! I am the new kid on the block. First let me say what an honor it is to be on the Arists of Texas blog. I hope to make lots of new friends and share art techniques and tips, and just looking at all the great art on this site is awesome! I am a water media artist who is constantly experimenting with new techniques in order to better express myself through my art. Using symbolism, textures and mixed media  takes my work to higher levels. I consider learning a life long pursuit and try to learn something new every day. I am grateful for your comments and know I will enjoy this new journey.  To see more of my work click here:  www.leadawood.com    or follow my blog   www.leadasblog.blogspot.com Thanks for looking!
